Putting a barefoot outsole on a non-barefoot shoe is challenging - by its very nature barefoot footwear is wide, thin and flexible, whereas most normal sneakers are narrow, thick and rigid. But it isn't impossible... we're daydreaming about a future where we could extend the life of every sneaker in the world with a barefoot sole, making them better for your feet and keeping them out of landfill for longer.
