You will be able to apply your gift card to your order once you reach the basket page and not in any other checkout steps.
Both guests and logged customers will be able to check the gift card balance at the basket page through the link "Check Gift Card status and balance". This is located on the Summary Menu on the right-hand side underneath the GIFT CARD tab.
Please ensure you use the Gift Card box not the Discount Code box.
