VIVO has conducted significant fit study’s to develop the worlds first data driven last based on the data base of 3000 VIVOBAREFOOT scans and with 75k women’s and 170k men’s scan from our volumental partners database. To further understand fit we have conducted real world fit studies in our VIVO pioneer 1 study to understand fit preference.
We realise that all feet are different as are people’s perception of it. FIT is based on two factors
- ACTUAL FIT - based on the data and digital accuracy not to big and not to small but just rite
- PREFERRED FIT - Some people like wearing their footwear snug, most optimal and some loose and long. Ultimately a good fit is what you like and makes you feel comfortable
Fit suggestion
BIOME has a foot shaped last not a shoe shaped one. 80% of people preference length to be 6-11mm of toe room and a
close fit on width. It is up to if you think you are in the long or the snug type of person
Once you have done the scan with Volumental, you will be asked to amend the fit with our system called Fit Visualiser.
This way you can make them slightly big so you have room to breath, or fit more snugly to your feet if that is your think.
