What will they be made out of? 

Our vision is to create fully circular footwear but we’re not there yet. Currently we’re testing disassembling the upper from the outsole using heat, then mechanically recycling the outsole by grinding it down, and chemically recycling the knitted upper with. These work streams are in their infancy and will likely change as the project evolves.  

The Biome Wings (which are the ones seen in our launch marketing campaign and in the store on display) are made from a 3D printed TPU outsole and 3D knitted Polyester upper.
